Terms of Service

Terms of Service (Effective Date: January 1, 2025)

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between Googol Traders and any Customer that engages our freight forwarding, inspection, warehousing, photography, or related logistics services. By requesting a quote, placing a shipment order, or using our website, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services Provided

Googol Traders acts as a freight forwarding intermediary and logistics coordinator. Our services include sea freight (FCL & LCL), air freight, China–Europe rail freight, domestic China trucking, product inspection & quality auditing, China warehousing & consolidation, and e-commerce product photography.

We do not own or operate ocean vessels, aircraft, or rail networks. We arrange transportation through third-party carriers and subcontractors. All carriage is subject to the applicable carrier's own terms, international conventions (Hague-Visby Rules for ocean freight; Warsaw/Montreal Convention for air cargo), and applicable customs regulations.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by Googol Traders are estimates based on information supplied by the Customer at the time of enquiry. Final charges may vary due to actual cargo weight or volume at time of pickup, changes in fuel surcharges or carrier tariffs, port congestion surcharges, customs examination fees, or currency fluctuation adjustments.

Quotations are valid for 7 calendar days from issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon in writing at the time of booking confirmation. A deposit or prepayment may be required before shipment is booked; balance payments are due upon presentation of shipping documents or delivery, whichever occurs first.

Outstanding balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month after the due date. Googol Traders reserves the right to exercise a lien over any cargo in our custody until all outstanding charges are settled in full.

4. Liability Limitations

Googol Traders' liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited to the lesser of: (a) the actual documented value of the lost or damaged cargo; or (b) the liability limit prescribed by the applicable international convention or carrier tariff.

We are not liable for loss of profit, business interruption, consequential or indirect losses; delays caused by force majeure events; customs detentions or inspections beyond our control; or inherent vice, faulty packaging, or pre-existing damage to the goods.

Maximum aggregate liability for any single claim shall not exceed the total freight charges paid by the Customer for the specific shipment in question.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by CIETAC, Shenzhen.
